Introduction

Meta-Vulk Kft. (hereinafter as Data controller / Service Provider) processes the data that Requesting party provided in this interface by filling out and submitting the form under the “Request Quotation” point of the menu, or the data that data subject provides directly via e-mail, with the purpose of providing them suitable services.

Controller intends to fully comply with its legal obligations related to the processing of personal data, with special regard to the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

This data protection information was prepared in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, with regard to the provisions of Act CXII of 2011 on the Right to Self-Determination and Informational Freedom.

1) Definitions

  • GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is the new data protection regulation of the European Union;
  • data processing: means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction;
  • processor: means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller;
  • personal data: means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person;
  • controller: means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data; where the purposes and means of such processing are determined by Union or Member State law, the controller or the specific criteria for its nomination may be provided for by Union or Member State law;
  • consent of the data subject: means any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the data subject’s wishes by which he or she, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to him or her;
  • personal data breach: means a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed;
  • recipient: means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or another body, to which the personal data are disclosed, whether a third party or not. Public authorities which may receive personal data in the framework of a particular inquiry in accordance with Union or Member State law shall not be regarded as recipients; the processing of those data by those public authorities shall be in compliance with the applicable data protection rules according to the purposes of the processing;
  • third party: means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorized to process personal data;

2) Principles of data processing

Data controlled shall process personal data in compliance with the provisions of the data processing information and shall observe the provisions of the applicable legislation, with special regard to the following:

Personal data shall be processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject.

Personal data shell be collected specified, explicit and legitimate purposes.

Personal shall be adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.

Data subject at any time withdraw his or her consent to the processing of his or her data, but that does not affect the lawfulness of the data processing performed on the basis of the consent prior to its withdrawal.

Data subject may exercise his or her right to file a complaint to the supervisory authority.

If data subject intends to use the services of Service Provider, it is necessary to provide the requested personal data.

The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him or her.

The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller the erasure of personal data concerning him or her without undue delay and the controller shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay where there are no other legal grounds for the processing of the personal data.

Rectification or erasure of the personal data can be initiated via e-mail, telephone or post at the contact details provided above.

4) Submitting an order

Purpose of data processing: providing a service, establishing contact, sending a confirmation e-mail.

In order to be able to fulfill orders submitted directly via e-mail, customers are required to provide their contact details and invoicing details.

Legal grounds for processing: consent of data subject. In case of invoicing, data processing is based on legal obligation.

Data subjects affected by the processing: data subject as customer.

Duration of data handling: Data processing lasts as long as it is required by legal obligation, or until consent is withdrawn. Data subject may at any time withdraw its consent to data processing in an e-mail sent to the e-mail address used for keeping contact.

Data is erased when the consent to data processing is withdrawn. Data subject may at any time withdraw its consent to data processing in an e-mail sent to the e-mail address used for keeping contact. Invoicing details shall be deleted in the manner required by law.

Service Provider becomes authorized to process the personal data after consent has been provided, in every other case it shall delete the personal data it has received.

Data subject may object to the processing of his or her personal data, and in this regard has the right to obtain the procedures in accordance with the data processing information detailed above, this information and the legislation referred to in the information.

5) Issuing invoices

Purpose of data processing: issuing and sending electronic invoices.

Legal grounds for data processing: compulsory data processing required by legislation.

Data subjects affected by the processing: customers of data controller.

Duration of data handling: Data processing lasts as long as it is required by legal obligation, or until consent is withdrawn. Data subject may at any time withdraw its consent to data processing in an e-mail sent to the e-mail address used for keeping contact.

By activating IP anonymization on the website, Google shortens the IP addresses of the visitors of the website in the member states of the European Union and other signatory states of the agreement regarding the European Economic Area. The complete IP address is transferred to and is shortened in Google’s servers only in exceptional cases. On request of data subject, Data controller / Service Provider shall send information to the e-mail address provided by data subject without delay but not later than within 30 days.

Right to rectification

Data subject may request data controller via the contact details provided to modify any of his or her data. Data controller shall make arrangements without delay but not later than within 30 days, and shall inform data subject via the contact details he or she has provided.

Right to erasure

Data subject may request data controller via the contact details provided to erase any of his or her data. Data controller shall comply with such request without delay but not later than within 30 days, and shall inform data subject via the contact details he or she has provided.

Right to blocking

Data subject may request data controller via the contact details provided to block access to any of his or her data. Access shall be blocked as long as the reason provided by data subject necessitates such blocking. Data controller shall comply with such request without delay but not later than within 30 days, and shall inform data subject via the contact details he or she has provided.

Right to object

Data subject may object to his or her data being processed via the contact details provided. Data controller shall review the objection within the shortest possible time after the request has been submitted, but not longer than within 15 days, and shall decide whether the case is well-founded and shall inform data subject of its decision via e-mail.
